Third Salento Finibus Terrae´s leg in Mesagne (18th/ 19th/ 20th July) [17-07-2009]

After Carovigno´s leg, where this night there´ll be awarded the winner of the section Bullying and Noir at the presence of the actor Jonis Bashir, the Festival will move in Mesagne, Brindisi: the 18th 19th 20th July will project, in Castello Svevo´s yard, the sections Very very Short and Children world, supported by UNICEF.
Mesagne, supported and host, besides the festival, also the exhibition “Fotogrammi di set, 50 anni di cinema” by BIC set (presented this morning in the press conference with the Mesagne´s assessor Magrì and festival director Romeo Conte): 7 photographers show, through 72 images exhibit inside Castello Svevo, among the most famous, “Casanova” by Federico Fellini, “Il portiere di notte” by Liliana Cavani, “C’era una volta il West” by Sergio Leone e many others. The exhibition will be open tomorrow at 7.00pm, and it will be open until August 20th (open every day from 10am to 10pm).
Among the guest of the Mesagne´s leg the actors Pedro Sarubbi (“The Passion” by Mel Gibson, “Il mandolino del capitano Corelli” by John Madden) and Riccardo Sardonè (“Enzo Ferrari” by Carlo Carnei, “San Paolo” by Roger Young, “O la va o la spacca” by Francesco Massaro) and the famous photographer Romolo Eucalitto for the BICset association.
In the section Very very Short, best film, “The Silver Bow” by Robert Manson (Ireland), a delicate and fairy short, the story of a father and a son during a special Christmas.
Best direction for “Depart” by Baudouin du Bois (Belgium): a revelation, the director creates a movie tuning with his camera. Best actor of the section Very very Short Luis Tosar in “Taxi?” by Telmo Esnal (Spain), funny and pleasant the actor performance protagonist of a paradoxical story.
Best actress, ex aequo, Natalia Mateo in “Equipajes” by Toni Bestard (Spain). For the second year a spanish actress is the winner and Natalia is not only beautiful but she´s also very good with a singolar and unique approch at the performance.
